Not everything has to be a lesson or a metaphor, sometimes life be like that ๐
That being said, maybe it would help to write down some goals that you want to accomplish for the day, like really simple, achievable ones. I don't know, maybe I missed something, like why you're traveling. ๐ค
I wrote about getting lost and what I discovered is it sucks and I needed to get my A-game on, so now I'm alright. *Knock on wood!*
Maybe you could draw a map when you go out? Make it fun and silly?
Wow, I had thought I wrote about why I'm on this trip hahah. I have to revisit my journals and write about that. And the funny thing is that we have a "goal" we wanted to accomplish for the day, like head to this one spot, but then that's when we get hopelessly lost. It doesn't help that it's right around the time when we get hangry. I suppose there's a hidden lesson in that too?
Youโre like me. Carry snacks. This is very important. Do not neglect this.
You might have written about why, but I didnโt see it. Itโs probably me.
Also, the goal should be something like โhave a nice dayโ or โfind 3 things to be super thankful forโ that kind of thing is what I was recommending ๐ In other words, something in your control.
You get to see some lovely places when you get lost! Cool pics! I got lost in the forest during a school orienteering camp. it was getting dark and I didn't find ANY of the locations on the map to stamp my progress sheet, so I was just shouting "is the location there?" in all directions, when a cry came from below and 20 girls ran up to me, thankful and emotional, because they got lost and coudn't find the way back. So I saved them while arriving second-to-last in the orienteering challenge. the last girl got a consolation prize. :(

Ohhhh got it! And while I did write about the change, I don't think I went into detail as to why :)
"Every day is an occasion for gelato"
I agree but my waistline doesn't.
haha I hear you. Though I feel like with all the walking I've done getting lost, the gelato was a source of comfort.
Yes, absolutely. And a source of much needed energy!
