I really appreciate that Nina! I honestly feel like if I don’t do this now, my son may not want to spend time with me once he’s in his teenage years.

No, not that close. Definitely not according to Dutch standards (we are a small country). But it would be fun and if you don't mind Nina (my Labrador) coming along, I'm game to go for hike somewhere close to the border.
