As I said from the start, these were great questions, and they're something that I could see being part of a journaling exercise. ✍️ And I've seen a lot of writing prompts and exercises, but never this one. Especially in this day and age of devices, information overload, and productivity hacks, it's vital to check in and remember what's important. Thanks, Sarah! 🙏
"Enough" is a big concept - I remember choosing it for my #WOTY several years ago - and the meaning gradually morphed for me from starting at it being about "having" enough to it becoming about "being" enough - both are huge ideas to come to terms with - but they make life a lot more settled once you understand them and how they apply to you as a person. Great thoughts here today - thanks for sharing them. :)
wow, I love that perspective on having and being enough. Such a subtle yet huge shift at the same time. Hope you continue to lean into your version of being enough ❤️
I loved reading these vulnerable thoughts on enoughness! For me, the concept is tied to worthiness. It is a continual struggle of recognizing my worth is in my being, not in my doing. When I am embracing enough, I am focused on being present, not productive.
Also, I now have Hamilton's "That would be Enough" playing in my head! 🤣
wow, hadn't thought of that, where when you embrace enough you're focused on being present. For sure, we stop striving in that proving ourselves to others. And now I have to listent to that Hamilton song!
I love how all of the answers have one common thread: enough is a feeling that comes from deep within us, and won’t be filled with anything material (no matter how much we talk ourselves into believing, yes it will).

Being enough sounds very wise indeed. I hope to embrace that.
I absolutely agree. Having a good sense of what is enough can be life changing!

“My worth is in my being, not my doing” - yesssss!!!
Yes, the struggle of worthiness. I am also contemplating it in my upcoming essay on success, which reared its head as worthiness and self respect!

Not anything material and also nothing external. You're right about the common thread!
Yes, for sure, having/being enough is definitely an internal measure.
This is so cool!
